Texada Island is located between the mainland of British Columbia and Vancouver Island in the Strait of Georgia, about 70 miles north of the US border. Regular BC Ferries service from Powell River goes back and forth to Texada Island ten times a day and regular air service from Vancouver Island and Vancouver travels to Texada three times daily.
